  Portland Press Herald (ME) December 3, 1996 Marie L. Cyr, 54, of Falmouth Road died Sunday in a Portland hospital after an illness with cancer. She was born in Westbrook, a daughter of Eugene E. and Dorothy Taylor Cyr. A lifelong local resident, she attended schools here and was a 1961 graduate of Windham High School. For 30 years, Miss Cyr was employed by the former GTE of Standish, now Control Devices, as a process quality control operator. She retired in 1995 because of failing health. She was a member of the Windham Friends Meeting and enjoyed making more than 50 trips with Maine Line Tours. She also enjoyed knitting and her two cats. Surviving are four sisters, Nancy Ziehler, Jeanne Casey, Doris Bicknell and Marilyn Murch, all of Windham; and a brother, Wayne Cyr of Winter Park, Fla.
