  The Salt Lake Tribune August 14, 2005 Calleen McKay, born May 12, 1928 in American Fork, Utah, the daughter of Marion C. Robinson and Sigrid P. Robinson, passed away on August 11, 2005 after a courageous battle with Lymphoma Cancer. Married September 15, 1948 to Dr. William M. McKay Jr. (Col, USAF) in the Salt Lake Temple. Preceded in death by brothers Marion, Kenneth and Sigmund Robinson. Survived by three sons William (MarJean) Bountiful, UT; Roger (Debbie) Scottsdale, AZ, David (Donna) Mesa, AZ. 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister Bettye R. Powley, Palm Springs, CA. Calleen was honored to be chosen as the Days of '47 Centennial Queen in 1947. She represented the state of Utah in many ceremonies and events across the United States. She had the opportunity to model professionally and participate in community theatre. She also loved to draw and paint. Calleen was a member of the California Utah Women's Association and Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was also active in many volunteer and charitable organizations. Calleen attended the University of Utah where she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She continued her education at UCLA and UNLV. With all of her life's interests and accomplishments, her greatest satisfaction and joy came from her love and dedication to her family.
